Ross' newest album, "Lullabies for Trying Times", will be released on CD and digital formats November 18th. Written for his mother, who passed away from cancer this past July 2014, he gives a tribute of songs that she loved and wanted him to record for so many years.
On this album, Ross combines traditional Gaelic song and Contemporary Songwriting to make a lullaby album that not only promises to soothe the little ones to sleep, but also give a message and story for the parents that will be listening. "I have been asked for years, not only by my mother, but by many of my friends who have children, to record a lullaby album that the PARENTS would enjoy listening to. I really made this for the adults. They are the ones who need it more than anyone else. (laughs)"
